In the next meeting, we will continue with divisors. If we want to talk about the class group, we can define the concepts and prove for example that the class group of your favourite conic is isomorphic to Z, or try to understand why the class group of an elliptic curve is more complicated (we did this in Linz once, in a very visual way, for a limited audience; good for getting a feeling on equivalence of divisors). We can also explore further the associated maps, starting with some examples, probably needed after the last part of the seminar yesterday.
Other suggestions? We have to keep in mind the bigger picture: there will probably be a third workshop on divisors and then we change topics, so let's think of a meaningful goal to achieve in the two remaining meetings, and adjust the program accordingly.
By the way, let's make the meeting at 10:00 unless this is not convenient for many people (we can assume that it's not too early for those in Linz, unless they say otherwise).
