For my taste, the purpose has become too specialised towards algebraic

geometry. I understand that the specialists among us appreciate an

atmosphere where we all can freely talk about advanced and interesting

algebraic geometry. But for me there is a triple disadvantage:

1) There is less time for me to hear what you (or you, or you) are doing now

in your PhD/Diploma thesis.

2) New/old students without background in algebraic geometry do not benefit.

This holds especially for those who do not need high-browsed AG in their

PhD study.

3) When I would like to bring a guest into this seminar, I find that it makes no

sense. (I do not need to explain why, do I?)

SUGGESTION: lets fill our meetings with more "personal material". It would

make it more interesting to me, to potential guests, and maybe to some other

participants currently participating.
